1.The organisers reserve the right to refuse any applicant or amend the content of the schooling session.
2. A session will be terminated if the instructor/trainer deems it necessary. The instrutor/trainer reserves the right to withdraw combinations that are adversely affecting the safety of themselves or the group.
3. SUFFOLK RIDING CLUB shall not be liable for any claim in respect of damage, loss, injury or accident to any person, horse or property howsoever caused in connection with or arising out of schooling event. It shall be deemed a condition of riding that each entrant shall agree to indemnify the Suffolk Riding Club or any person acting on their behalf against any legal action arising from such an incident.
4. When mounted, riders MUST wear protective headgear which includes a retaining harness secured to the shell at more than two points and securely fastened.Hats to be marked: British: PAS015: 1998 or 2011 provided they are BSI Kitemarked. European: VG1 01.040: 2014-12 provided they are BSI Kitemarked. American: ASTM F1163: 2004a or 04a onwards provided they are SEI marked SNELL E2001 and SNELL E2016. Australian and New Zealand AS/NZS 3838: 2006 onwards provided they are SAI global marked. Hair must be restrained and in a hair net if long. NO HAIR below the collar.
5. Riders are advised to wear body protectors at all times when mounted. Body protectors are compulsory when schooling over Cross Country Jumps. Gloves are strongly recommended.
Body Protector approved to Level 3 2009 or after PURPLE label OR a BLUE 2018 label for Cross Country training. Hybrid Air- jackets and air jackets incorporated into a blouson style jacket are permitted. Exo Body Cages are permitted with a Level 3 2000 purple label, but we must be notified so that we can inform the paramedics that they need an allen key.
6. Fixed peak hats are not permitted for Cross Country training.
7. All horses / ponies must be 4 years old or over to take part any ridden training session.
8. Any horse / pony which might kick, or is known to kick, MUST wear a Red Ribbon on its tail.
9. Emergency services MUST have access to ALL AREAS of the Schooling Venue at all times. DO NOT OBSTRUCT ACCESS.
10. Stirrups MUST be “run up” or “crossed over” the saddle when the rider is not mounted.
11. No person shall bring a stallion for which he/she is responsible as owner, lessee, authorised agent or rider to any schooling / training sessions without having gained the permission of the trainer before booking in. They must take adequate precautions to ensure that other riders and members of the public are not put at risk of injury. Stallions may not be ridden or led by children 14 years and under.
12. Spurs are not allowed without the permission of the Instructor.
13. SRC Dress Code applies.

DO NOT LEAVE ANY MUCK, LITTER, HAY OR ANYTHING ELSE ON THE CAR PARK.
